The fixtures and pools for the ICC World T20 Qualifier have been finalized.  Nepal has pooled with the last years T20 qualifier runner-up, Afghanistan. Division 1 cricket heavy weights, Netherlands, Scotland and Kenya have also been pooled with Nepal with PNG, Bermuda & Denmark rounding off pool B. Pool A consists of current champions, Ireland and also features Division 1 teams in the likes of Namibia, Canada and hosts United Arab Emirates. The other four qualifying teams include Italy, Uganda, USA and Hong Kong.

The ICC has increased the number of teams able to qualify for the T20 World Cup from two teams to six teams. This increases the chances of all 16 teams vying for the six spots to travel to the T20 World Cup to be staged in Bangladesh in 2014.Nepal has defeated Papua New Guinea, Kenya and Denmark in the last edition of the T20 World Cup Qaulifiers. Nepal has finished 7th in the last qualifiers held last year (2012) after finishing 5th in their pool to miss out on the qualifying stage.



They play two warm up matches against fierce rivals USA and UAE.
This will be the Nepal's trip to Dubai, UAE.
